Award
of Pilot Study for Improved Marketing
EBA Consulting Ltd have been awarded a pilot study project by one of the public sector enterprise agencies to look at the effects of marketing strategies on the SME sector. Most companies are immersed in the day to day operation of the business and they sometimes fail to look at their overall marketing strategies with the consequence that sales fall off or fail to meet the necessary break even level. The most successful businesses recognise the importance of existing customers and how key it is to look after them. Monitoring the performance of your clients, understanding their business as well as keeping in with them by providing good service, quality etc is vital for a long term relationship. As they grow so should you. Existing customers can be a source for new business and should cost less to generate increased revenue. We will be selecting a number of businesses from a wide market sector and be studying their marketing efforts, products and strategy for the future. We will then look at the best ways to improve sales. One of the areas we are keen to explore is the telemarketing approach because for the SME this can be a cost effective solution without incurring large permanent overhead structures.
